Oparau Acoustic Festival

About Me

The Oparau Acoustic Festival (OAF) is approaching its fourth year! Catering to music of any genre, so long as its acoustic, the festival combines ecclectic acts in an intimate venue, with an appreciative audience that came to hear something different! The old Oparau Community hall, surrounded by the Oparau river, pastoral hillsides and native bush, definitely warms up during the performances!..........This is a camping festival , tents preferred, caravans ok but no electric hookups! All night jams are common amongst tents and any nook and cranny you can find. Alternate activities include , canoeing, fishing, surfing, Horse treks, mt Pirongia hikes,......Petes palace , marvelous travelling caterer, is on hand serving breakfast lunch and dinner, coffee, beer and wine selection. He's kind of like Gordon Ramsay in a housebus! I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
