Knowledge, it's the key to understanding the world that one lives in and Twinpeaks knowledge is music. Twinpeaks consists of identical twins Kyle and Cameron Hodges. It is this musical knowledge that sets the twin brothers aside from other aspiring DJ's. While running their own record store the twins decided that they needed another outlet to educate people on music, so they decided to start DJing. It wasn't a combined effort like today, each brother needed to make his own "stamp" on the music community first. Kyle went the way of deep house and electronica, Cameron funk & soul. After their "marks" had been set, the two combined forces and created Twinpeaks. This combination was created to forge a new sound, a new identity that would allow the brothers to bring in any music genre into their sets and provide the kind of diverse atmosphere that is Twinpeaks!! These sets have become notorious for thick-fuzzy funk, 'lick driven rock n roll, groovin trip-hop, intelligent hip-hop and bangin' house beats that seem to make the drinks flow free and the night fly by!! There is no questioning the talent that these two twins possess behind the technics, it's when will you get the chance to feel it.
Twinpeaks entertainment was started in '05 as just another way for the twins to help break Indianapolis's stranglehold on bad music. With our partners in crime, Old Soul, the twins bring in talented local/national live/DJ acts that would normally pass by our city. We hope that you will join us for one of our monthly hangouts and become part of the musical family.
Twinpeaks also run the indie label Jersey Blu records. This label is again dedicated to multiple forms of music that need our support. We realize that everyone has the need to hear good music, so we are just doing our part. Look out for our releases as we have several lined up for '08!!!
