"Me and my monkey lover?" consists of alex(vocals) and tom(guitar), and have been playing together since late 2007..
After attending a 2 semester course at a music school in london alex decided to start her own personal music project..she wrote some songs ...and then some more songs..asked tom (who plays electric guitar in hardcore and punk bands..) if he would be interested in playing together..Driven by a mutual passion to make music with no boundries they entered the studio in spring 2008 to record a bunch of songs they thought the world deserves to hear.."Me and monkey lover?" do not intend to redefine any genres but to make good music one can chill out to..so yeah thats basically it...the tracks up are shitty pre-recordings which were recorded in alexs' bedroom but tracks from from the upcoming album will be up shortly..so if you like it stay tuned...comments/feedback/criticism are more then welcome..
