About Me

Paula Eve Kirman is a Western Canada-based singer/songwriter who writes and performs music with a message. Whether singing about life, love, social concerns, or spirituality, she focusses on the passion behind the words.

Much of Paula's work deals with social justice, in no small part due to her active involvement in the peace movement and a variety of other causes such as poverty and the environment. Her songs face specific issues head on, such as "Butterflies and Rainbows," about the effects of the Tar Sands development in Alberta; "Walls" about the conflict in the Middle East; and, "I Only Ask of G-d," an English version of a human rights anthem from Argentina.
