I tend to be able to see the potential value in just about anything (well... not everything), which leads to interest in a lot of different things - that and the fact that I just love to learn. I love Christian apologetics, especially on the science end of things ( great stuff here ). I'm a big lover of art (although I tend to move quickly through a museum), and tend to look for the art in most mediums: film, television, fine art, performing art, photography, music, video games, etc. I also tend to stay at least relatively well-versed in the geek arts: computers, internet, gadgets, and so forth. I haven't gotten to travel as much as I'd like, but love it when I get the opportunity, mostly because it provides exposure to new things. I really like the sense of adventure and wonder that traveling and a new locale can induce. As far as hobbies go, I play the piano whenever I can (which hasn't been terribly often lately), and I would like to pick up painting again which I also have been able to really do for a while now. You could also say that I am interested in people, and the people that God has placed in my life get a lot of my time and attention - which works out great with my current job working in the Singles department at my church.
Not necessarily in this order...
C. S. Lewis :: just to listen to his rhetoric - man that's some good stuff!
Beethoven :: to see what he really thinks of some of the music today.
J. S. Bach :: to meet a phenomenal and godly composer.
The Patriarchs :: to listen to their stories of Adonai.
The Apostles :: to listen to their stories of Yeshua.
Adam & Eve :: to ask what life was like before sin.
Brian Regan :: Best comedian ever!
I have been playing piano since I was about 8, and in college I was a music composition major, so my appreciation for music tends to be pretty broad. My siblings are 8, 9, & 10 years older than me, so I have a fair amount of appreciation for '70s stuff. My mom & step-dad, being true-blooded Texans, gave me a lot of exposure to country growing up (although it isn't something that I particularly like). Being a child of the '80s & '90s myself, I am continuing to amass more music from those era's. My love for classical music reached its peaks throughout high school when that was almost all that I would listen to. At the end of high school and through college I became a rabid fan of They Might Be Giants, but that also has subsided quite a bit. Through a foreign friend, I obtained a German hip-hop album from the mid '90s that I still enjoy. I strongly recommend the album "Details" by Frou Frou to anyone and everyone - it is sublime. During my video-game-playing days (which ended a couple of years ago), I amassed a collection of over 160 video game albums - some soundtracks, some arrangements, some crap, some extremely good. Currently, one of my all-time favorite pieces is "Creid" from the Xenogears arranged album.

All-time favorite movie: Say Anything ...John Cusack stuff is almost always good - Grosse Pointe Blank, Better Off Dead, The Jack Bull, One Crazy Summer. Some favorite comedies: Tommy Boy, Christmas Vacation. My geekiness tends to be exposed with my enjoyment of sci-fi, even bad sci-fi. I like watching the more thought-provoking indie films with someone with whom I can analyze it afterwards.

Smallville. Heck yes - all the way. The only "can't miss" show that I watch. I also try to catch Surfacing, My Name is Earl, and Teen Titans.
The Bible (duh) - mainly the ESV and the CJB (I highly recommend the CJB + The Jewish New Testament Commentary ). You just can't go wrong with C.S. Lewis ( Mere Christianity & The Four Loves are favorites). In high school (I'm overdue for a re-read) I loved The Hunchback of Notre Dame . Most of my reading for pleasure falls into the apologetics realm; one of my favorite books: A Case Against Accident and Self-Organization .
