My name is Reginald Brooks. I am man that just trying to care of business. Alumni of Albany State University and the Eta Kappa Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi. Also am Alumni member of Circle K International. I love having fun especially with my son, Joseph.KAPPA KAPPA PSI NATIONAL HONORARY BAND FRATERNITY, INC.
TAU BETA SIGMA NATIONAL HONORARY BAND SORORITY, INC.
For those who are wondering what KKPsi and TBSigma does. We dont really do much COMMUNITY service, although we do some, but we are one, if not the hardest working organization on campus, as far as service hours goes. It may be hard for any organization to match our service hours, because we serve one of the biggest organization on campus (the band). We dont just represent the band, we serve the band...doing a lot of behind the scenes work for the band and the director, making sure that the band continues to function properly. We also have programs for bandmembers making them better bandsmen, leaders, and people in general. We are a GREEK lettered FRATERNITY and SORORITY, with purposes and everything, just like any other frat or sorority. We are just an Honorary Band Fraternity and Sorority, so thats why we are not in the same class as the other Historically African American Fraternities and Sororities, we are not historically african american. This is also what makes us unique, everybody cannot be kappa kappa psi or tau beta sigma, like other fraternities and sororities. There are is much diversity in our bond, ethnicity does not matter. We have a common bond....a love for music and the band...But we are a fraternity and sorority, just as much as the next. This is not something that we just made up. Kappa Kappa Psi was founded in 1919 and Tau Beta Sigma was founded in 1946..We worked just as hard as any other organization to get in it, but the most work comes when its time to SERVE, continuing to STRIVE FOR THE HIGHEST. We also STEP and PARTY HOP just as well, if not better than any other fraternity or sorority.
