We began with a vision. We proceeded to move with a plan. We are currently executing and you are witnessing our results. The Formula began in Crown Heights Brooklyn by a group of extra ordinary Emcees by the names of ASA, Crise-P, Squeek, and Live Wire. In addition to these Emcees was new phenomenon Mike Shorey. This was the blueprint to the future of urban music. But how can anyone change the current state of hip-hop? Is there any originality out there? Who will provide the eclectic ear of the audience with interest, intrigue, and an option? From a talented group of lyricist emerged an organized structure. Terry Moore (Live Wire) had a vision. And this vision was the seeds of an empire. Live was a part of a program called Hip-Hop Project, sponsored by Russell Simons. This program taught him the business of the music industry and enlightened him to the fact that ownership is the key. Any affiliate of Live knows that he is an extremely hard worker. In his pursuit of creating an empire he met Jamal Clay. Through the music that was being produced, immediately a bond was formed. Jamal, the silent brain of The Formula learned his knowledge and insight of the industry by obtaining a first hand perspective of the business from his older brother, Kareem Biggs Burke, CEO of Rocafella records. Jamal and Live took The Formula, added the Inc. and there you have it. Now theyre incorporated. Jamal introduced Live to Michael Peredez aka MC. MC would soon prove that he had what it took to be the head of A&R at The Formula inc. Later Live Wire would incorporate long time friend Darian Logan to the team. Darian showed that he was going to be a part of the movement by any means necessary and soon earned the title of Vice President. Through party promoting, Darian introduced Live to Big Ro. Showing he had the ability to juggle many tasks, Big Ro became General Manager. Through the organization of Oniqa Moonsammy, The Formulas Secretary, the new company was ready to take on the vigorous world of the Music industry. With there two focal artist being Live Wire and Crise-P, it was only fate that there success would come ten fold. To quote Divine Bradley, The best way to predict the future is to create it. They are doing just that. If you are watching closely as these guys climb the ladder of success, how they fill their plate and accomplish goals, I wouldnt advise you to blink.
