IGNIS

Ignis nació con el nombre de “Forgotten Show”, que pronto pasó a ser “Project Gemmini” hacia el 2004/05 de la mano de Elías Zarzuela y Juan Zurita. Pronto se unió Luis Lara (baterista) y formaron este conjunto de música instrumental. Dado la dificultad que suponía encontrar un bajista para un proyecto instrumental progresivo decidieron buscar un cantante y cambiar su estilo de música (finales 2006). Así nació Ignis, y pronto se unió el bajista y cellista Raúl Herrera para comenzar a grabar su primera demo y debutar en los escenarios. Recientemente Raúl se ve obligado a abandonar el bajo debido a sus estudios de cello, pero la banda en lugar de interpretarlo como una perdida, lo tomamos como una ganancia ya que se quedó a tocar el cello e invitamos al guitarrista Juan Antonio a que tocase el bajo con nosotros, cosa que aceptó de buen grado. Lamentablemente en la actual demo solo disponemos de 1 tema con el cello introducido.---------------------------------------[ENGLISH] -----------------------------------------Ignis was born with the name of "Forgotten Show", wich soon became "Project Gemmini" around 2004/05 by Elías Zarzuela and Juan Zurita. Soon the drummer Luis Lara joined and formed a band wich played only instrumental progressive songs. It was difficult to find a bassist for this kind of music so they decided to look for a singer (Jesús Pérez) and change their musc style a bit. So that's how Ignis was born, and soon a bassist would join, Raúl Herrera, who was also a cellist and they recorded their first demo and played live for the first time. Recently Raúl was forced to leave the bass in order to play the cello better, so the band decided to include a cello in all their songs and look for another bassist. Hopefully a guitarrist called Juan Antonio accepted our petition and agreed to play the bass guitar with us, although he lives for his guitar. Sadly in the actual demo there's only one song with cello, but there will be more recordings in the future.
