Proud to share with funky souls!!

About Me

Born and raised in a sleepy little town on the south coast of England, Keith's unusual affinity with dance music started at an early age. While his mates got stuck into the Sex Pistols or AC/CD, Keith cut a lonely male figure on the scout hut dancefloor, a self-concious teenager shuffling around to the sounds of War, Chic, and Earth, Wind & Fire, not totally convinced that his mates were laughing WITH him, rather than AT him........ Over the years Keith had failed miserably attempting to play various musical instruments. Luckily, DJ'ing came easier to him and in the mid-90s, now living in San Francisco, he started having fun at underground parties in the city, notably the numerous Syntonic and Vibrant affairs, as well as many notorious warehouse parties of his own. Collaborating with San Francisco musicians Greg Sankovich and Phil Lockwood, Keith co-produced two critically acclaimed house tracks "Caravan" and "Feel" on their new Visualize Records lable in 2002. After returning to the UK and enjoying numerous Southport Weekenders, Keith is back to production with the hugely talented pianist Greg Sankovich and a new track "ReUnion", a warm groover that nicely illustrates Keith's various musical influences and had the following review from Michael Fosatti's "Spirit of House" website: ""ReUnion" by Keith Walton is a wonderfully orchestrated production using a deep backing on a laidback tip as playground for lovely chords and strings, with a guest performance by pianist Greg Sankovich who is pulling out all the stops on his jazz soaking solos. Nothing more needs to be said, simply let yourself be taken on a joyful nine minute plus journey into this jazz flavored deep house gem".
