Hey, I've just set up this myspace for myself and for any music I make not affiliated with my band para contra (see top friends thing). I'm alex hnatiuk, 18 years old, from Brantford Ontario, and I love music, books, and movies. I try to make music and stories, but have not yet begun to bastardize the medium of film.
Also, I've recently begun a sort of experiment where I'm removing "things" from my life. A month ago I got rid of the TV+Cable in my room, and June 1st 2008 I'll be reducing my internet time to once every week or so, in an effort to curb the dependancies I've taken up. Not really sure what I want with my life, but I'm really interested in psychology, sociology and philosophy, so ideally it'd be something in one of those fields. I don't really think artists should make the kind of money they do in our society (artists meaning anyone whose sole career is art; music, books, art, modelling, etc); I don't pay for the music I listen to, and I would never expect someone to have to pay for my music. That being said, a good chunk of my beliefs and values are changing and open to dissection at all times. I am not sure of anything, so anything I say should be taken as lightly or as heavily as it impresses upon you.
