"HOW WE HOOKED UP, SHIT, WE JUST HOOKED UP - LIKE SODA AND BLOW, WE JUST COOKED UP! -BENJI (-2003-)Scales,Bells and Clientale was all that attracted Trell Cartel and Sleepy. Being underbosses to the street legends "Tephlon"(CEO of Tephlon Records)and "Knot"(CEO of Southside Money Ent./Co-CEO of Tephlon Records)insured that money wasn't an issue to how far they wanted to expand their organization. Besides stacking Benjamin's and spending Hamilton's,Trell Cartel and Sl(Sleepy) was talented at writing and creating music, but never pursued it because they were satisfied with the street lifestyle. After Tephlon overheard a phenominal verse and hook from Sl, he decided to get his crew out of the streets by investing in a record label and a recording studio. He later relayed the message to Knot, Sl,and Trell to make the movement official. Working with Jazzy Pha, 112, Dungeon Family, and Daz Delinger was just the beginning of an empire.(-2005-) Still financially supporting the company, Tephlon found himself facing felony charges. Later convicted and sentenced to a 15 year bid. Witnessing the bad news, Knot knew he had to bridge the gap and take control of the movement. Previously owning 49% of Tephlon Records he created his own entertainment company,"Southside Money". At this point they all realized that they needed to be patient and smart to have a large impact on the music industry while remaining on the streets. Knowing that LOYALTY AND HONOR will be the key to their success, they built from the ground up. First, organizing the company in MOB format, they rounded up the southside's leading muscle and lifetime affiliates G.R.B, and announced capo's such as Shif,Shank, and Hard and frontline such as Polo,Gunna, Tray, etc. (-2007-)Second, they knew they needed to add to the grind so they brought in a top-of-the-line street hustla Benji the Locksmith, one they knew since yay high who always had a urge for the gwap. His head-banging mixtapes had already gained a heavy street buzz all over atlanta working with R&B singer "Lil Corey" with tracks from producers such as Zaytoven and King Kong. Benji had the same goals as Trell and Sl, to bring the attention to the Southside of Atlanta, gain respect for Georgia's(Da South) lyrical abilities, and count racks of profit. Benji's talent, drive, and experience quickly made him one of the underbosses of Southside Money. Third, they brought in other talented artists such as Taylor Boi, A'ja, and Toon.Witnessing bad situations in the past,Knot and Trell found themselves in another grind-breaking confrontation in front of a judge. At the conclusion,Knot was sentenced to 3 years in prison. At this point of devastation,Trell took on the torch.Quickly leading Southside Money into the limelight,DVD shoots and performances was the least of his accomplishments.Knot-Knot, hearing about his brother's grind from behind bars, realized that the beginning of a focused individual who merged from his guidance was in motion to success!Trell Cartel was crowned President of Southside Money Ent!Southside Money Entertainment is the definiton of talent and the future to the music industry!
