Wisdom Supreme is a Spoken Word Poet, Freelance Writer and Internet Radio Host. He’s been writing poetry since age 11 and journals, short stories & movie reviews since high school. Wisdom was the winner of the weekly open mic competition at Harlem Lanes Bowling Alley in Nov. 2008, plus he competed in the legendary amateur night at the Apollo competition in May of 2008 & 2009. Supreme also opened for legendary R&B Singer Alyson Williams at Ashford & Simpson’s Sugar Bar in Dec. of 2008.But Wisdom also believes in doing his part to try and give back to the community as well. In June of 2008, he participated & performed at the Cutting for a Cure benefit showcase @ Denny Moe’s Superstar Barbershop in Harlem, to help raise money for Cancer awareness and research. He also performed and participated in a poetry and arts workshop at St. Joe’s Campus in Philadelphia, for a group of junior high school students in July of 2009. Lastly as a freelance Writer, Supreme has contributed music & movie reviews & blogs to The Writers’ Vibe website from July 2007-March 2009.
