Amel Ćurić roÄ‘en je 07.08.1980. Ljubav prema muzici pokazuje vec u osmoj godini zivota kad upisuje osnovnu muziÄku Å¡kolu u GraÄanici. Nastupao je u nekoliko lokalnih bendova "Å tetoÄine" i "Pandora" (sadasnja "Predgrupa") ali kao basista i back vocal. 2000. godine upisuje studij Informatike na Filozofskom fakultetu u Tuzli. Tu stiÄe i prvo pjevaÄko iskustvo nastupajući sa tuzlanskim bendovima "Big Brother" i "Dugi Put".Godine 2003. se prijavljuje na prvi i najgledaniji reality show u Bosni i Hercegovini, Supernova Music Talents (IDOL) te od 8.000 kandidata izlazi kao pobjednik, a time zapoÄinje i njegova profesionalna karijera. UÄestvuje na brojnim festivalima u BiH (BH Radijski festival, Mostarski, Bihaćki...) i Crnoj Gori (Budva). Sa singlom "Osmijeh Skriveni", 2005. godine postaje apsolutni pobjednik Bihaćkog festivala,a singl "Moja Djevojka" mu donosi priznanje Radija M za hit godine. 2006. godine izdaje album prvjenac pod nazivom "Urnebes" u saradnji sa produkcijskom kucom Hayat Production koji osvaja jednu od najprestižnijih nagrada u BiH, "Davorin", za najbolji debitantski album. Na BH MuziÄkom Oscaru pjesma "Stara Ljubav" izabrana je za Hit godine u kategoriji Pop-Rock muzike. "Stara Ljubav" postaje veliki hit i definitivno obilježava 2006 i 2007. godinu osvajajući radio i tv top liste u regionu. SaraÄ‘ivao je sa mnogim renomiranim muziÄarima: Nermin PuÅ¡kar, Aleksandra Radović, Dalibor Dado Marinković, Muamer Äozo, Damir Bećić, Melih Berse, Emir Hot, Muris Varajić, Mahir Sarihodžić itd. ENGLISH Amel Ćurić was born on 7.8.1980. He was eight years old when his love towards music started to show. He attends elementary school for musicians. He performed as a bass player and back vocal in several local bands. In the year 2000 he attends classes in University of Tuzla, section Informatics. His first singing experience happened not long after, when he performed as a lead vocal for the first time in two popular rock&roll bands from Tuzla, playing with famous guitar player Emir Hot. The first TV reality show Supernova Music Talents (Bosnian Idol) in Bosnia and Herzegovina starts in the year 2003, where out of 8.000 candidates he comes out as a winner, and becoming very popular in his country. His professional singing career began soon after. He appears in numerous festivals in Bosnia (BH Radio festival, Music festival in Bihac, Mostar etc) and Montenegro (Festival of Budva). With his single „Osmijeh Skriveni“ he becomes absolute winner on a festival of Bihac, in the year 2005. In the same year, he becomes owner of another very important award. The Radio M award for the Hit of the year. Year after, his first record called „Urnebes“ published by Hayat Production, hits the stores. This album leads him to another award, and this time the most prestige one, chosen by the best authors and composers from Bosnia, called „Davorin“, for the Best debut album. He also got the award for the Hit of the year in the pop-rock music category with his song „Stara ljubav“ on Bosnian Music Oscar awards.
