I recommend that everyone read the book "Confessions of an Economic Hitman" by John Perkins, it will open your eyes to alot of stuff that is going on nowadays. I tend to not read novels very often, but "Pompeii", "Absolute Power" and the "Godfather" are a few that I happened to like
