The Ambassadors Reception

About Me

The Ambassador's Reception, prepare your ears for a treat. After travelling the world and uniting nations with their disco diplomacy, the foreign minister has called time on the ambassador’s disco adventures. As they are recently retired the ambassador's felt it best the world knew what it’s really like to be spoilt at the reception. During their time as globetrotting diplomats, the Ambassador’s would spend all their free time and unlimited funds hunting down some of the most sought after and soon to be sought after disco music. They would then use this music and throw one of their now legendary reception parties. Started as a good way to let the delegates relax whilst solving the major issues of the world, it was a place where the rich and famous would mingle with even more rich and famous. The champagne was the best of the best, the food was the best of the best, the chocolates (choc on the rocks) were (well you know what they were!) and the DJ’s were the best of the best. Word spread of the debauchery and decadence the Ambassador’s Reception had to offer and every wannabe film star, model, football player would give their right arm to get in.As the parties got bigger and busier the ambassador’s were unable to carry on playing the music as their diplomatic duties were compromised when the French Presidents wife insisted on giving the DJ’s a blow job because the music was that good. This was somehow recipricated and she came for the first time in 14 years ! It did not go down too well with the French contingent. The ambassador’s had to find new DJ’s, so they sent their agents to find the like-minded deejays that could rock their V.I.PThe agents searched the globe and brought back two disco freaks, a Dutch robot DJ called Loud-E and an English obsessive by the name of Stevie Kotey.Within the first month they took the party to a new level with their blend of oddball synthesizer and ethnic-library-afro-disco.They also had more time to prepare for the parties, and would spend weeks searching for disco worthy of the Ambassadors Reception. For them cd means nothing more then corpse diplomatique. After keeping all the tricks ,edits, and information about the reception secret for many years the DJ’s finally agreed to share their music with us by way of special limited vinyl releases and now and again an ultra exclusive CD. In the end the ambassadors job is to unite countries, people and visions. Their blend represents all flavours of the world. It will bring you to a height from where the world looks like a coloured discoball! The only thing missing now is that phat dripping chocolate sauce changing into that famous brown sweety!
