Hi,
This is Maria and my husband Tommy Marolda. We just had a little girl Catie. Well, she is not that little anymore. She is 5 months old. But she is the cutest (who would ever say anything different about their child?) and the happiest baby I have ever seen. When she was born, I wanted to sing to her some lullabies, but to tell the truth, I am not a big fan of "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star". It is so overused. It's even sad! :) My husband is a Grammy Nominated songwriter and producer, so I asked him to write a Lullaby for our baby. Well, one lullaby turned into this album. We really enjoyed recording these songs. And our Catie loves to fall asleep to them. Sometimes the only way to calm her down is to turn these lullabies really loud!
We created this collection of original lullabies for the world to share. They will be available on iTunes on May 27th. We included vocal and instrumental versions of all lullabies. You can sing along (if you like it, of course) and create those special moments with your little one.
