I'm interested in lots of things...I spend a lot of my time: 1. Quilting, lately. I like the creativity... 2. Computing- I am often online... 3. Reading- Love to spend spare time reading books- Mostly fantasy and best sellers... Not too much non-fiction... 4. Cooking- I am best at cooking sweets, but I enjoy cooking most anything. :)

I enjoy classic rock... Also slow jazzy piano with a soulful singer... I like all of the country sounds that are coming out of Austin these days... and I like Jack Johnson, Amos Lee and Jamie Cullum, too...
I don't enjoy corny movies or horror flicks. I like movies that make you think, movies that make you laugh and occasionally movies that make you cry. I seldom see a movie twice.
My favorite series now is Friday Night Lights. I Tivo other stuff too, though.
I love to read, but am currently not reading much... There's a great book that I keep picking up and browsing through when I have time (seldom) called, "The Art of Happiness, A Handbook for Living" by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Howard C. Cutler, M.D.
There are many people that I consider heroes in this world, but I think right now I'm most appreciative of the servicemen and women who serve in our military. Their sacrifices and the sacrifices of their families are tremendous and should be commended.
