Absurd's latest signing to the label comes straight from Switzerland. "Zentrale Randruppe" is the production duo of Simon Schwendener & Piero Scherer. The upcoming EP entitled "Deep Sea Diver" showcases the variety in their sound with the techy title track sounding like its breathing from below the seas, and b-side "Frijoles" a real cinematic sounding house affair.We've enlisted Jens Bond of Highgrade/Pokerflat for the remix, making this release a great package. Jens is a master of finely balanced rhythms. He brings the beat to life like no other – every beat is in place, even the background sounds are carefully arranged to bring the track forward.More info to come..
"Zentrale Randgruppe" are Simon Schwendener (Khainz) & Piero Scherer (Mirio) both living in Switzerland. Since the early 90ies they are both very interested in electronic music and the party-movement around the globe. Some years after they started to produce different styles of music in their own homestudios. Simon in Buchs (SG) and Piero in Lucern.
In 2002 Simon moved to Lucern where they met first time. They knew very soon that they have a lot of common interests in music and production, so they started to produce together a couple of tracks.
Soon they where working more often together and formed the band "Zentrale Randgruppe".

"Zentral Randgruppe" sind Simon Schwendener (Khainz) & Piero Scherer (Mirio) beide wohnhaft in der Schweiz.
Seit den frühen 90ern waren die beiden schon sehr interessiert an elekrtronischer Musik und der Partygesellschafft rund um den Globus. Ein paar Jahre später begannen beide mit Musik Produktionen in Ihren "Homestudios". Simon in Buchs (SG) und Piero in Luzern.
Im Jahre 2002 wechselte Simon seinen Wohnsitz nach Luzern wo sich die beiden dann auch zum ersten mal traffen. Schnell wurde ihnen klar, dass sie viel gemeinsame Interessen in Musik und der Produktion dessen haben.
Bald darauf produzierten sie dan auch scho ihre ersten Tracks zusammen.
Einwenig später begannen sie vermehrt zusammen zu arbeiten und riefen die Band "Zentrale Randgruppe" ins Leben.
