Il complesso di Forte Marghera occupa un'area di oltre 48 ettari, canali compresi, posta tra terraferma e laguna, lungo le vie di comunicazione che portano a Venezia.
Costruito per difendere la città lagunare, è stato poi riutilizzato come base logistica e infine ha cessato ogni uso militare.
Oggi conserva un importante patrimonio storico e ambientale e il suo riutilizzo rappresenta una grande opportunità di sviluppo sociale, culturale ed economico.
Forte Marghera's compound takes up an area of 48 hectares, canals included, placed between dry land and lagoon, along the streets that took to Venice.
