I'm a 30 yr old GWM. I have a job that I love - and work a lot of hours. Maybe I have kinda substituted a career for a life, but I don't really mind. At least not until something more meaningful comes along. I have a great sense of humor - I am comforted in knowing that if I were the only person in the world my life would still be filled with laughter - at myself! I have heard the word "Entertainer" many times in my days. I believe that is one specific purpose I was put on this earth to do - to make people smile and laugh. I am a person with whom u NEVER have to question where u stand. I am honest - although some would beg to differ that - only because they didn't get the answer they wanted to hear. I have been the person who tried to make everyone happy - didn't work - so I decided that life is about making yourself happy. I strive to treat people the way that I want to be treated - but I also believe in treating people the way that they treat me. I have been through a loss of a parent - and I have been the through the heartache of breakup. I have truly learned that sometimes, in life, what we want and what is best for us are not always the same thing. I have stared death in the face - and it made me a better person. That experience caused me to change so many things that needed to be different in my life. Funny how when u think u are going to die u really see how some things that seem so important are really nothing - and some things that u take for granted are the things that should be top priority. I know what I want out of life - and I know what I don't want and will not stand for. I am quick to dismiss people that are negative influences. Sorry if that has been u - but I am too old to make careless mistakes or put trust in untrustworthy people anymore. Trust is something that u earn - it's not something that u should hand out freely to people - or expect people to hand out freely to u. I have also learned that in life sometimes friends have disagreements and part ways - but if u are TRULY friends - the paths always come together down the road.
