In the heart of Philadelphia lies the next hot recording star, his name is Stridah Von. For the past 8 years, this 24 year old Philly native has been sharpening and cultivating his skills so that one day, he can grace the stages of the world with his catchy lyrics, futuristic beats and anime style persona. As a producer, he has worked with a hand-full of signed and unsigned artists. In 2003, Stridah teamed up with Faust, another hot producer, to work on a project for J Records/Full Surface. Later in 2004, the track became one of the hottest hip hop singles of the year. The song was "Tear It Up" by Yung Wun ft. DMX and David Banner. Unfortunately through misleading legal representation, the duo received no recognition for the production of the track. The song went on to be featured in Electronic Art's NFL Madden 2004 video game.
Despite the hardships and a very personal experience of the trials and tribulations in the music industry, Stridah continues to pursue a career as an entertainer. His accomplishments include a host of synchronized tracks with broadcast television networks such as MTV, VH1, CBS and Telemundo. He is an active member of the ASCAP organization and has recently completed two projects with Dipset/SkullGang stars Juelz Santana and Jay Bezel. One in the form of a new single called "Ridin' Clean" and the other is "Throw It UP", a melodic and beat driven club banger produced by and featuring Stridah Von, both due late summer 2008. Stridah aspires to work with many artists in the years to come.
