Band Members: Virginia native Andrew "Doobie" Forestell began his hip hop career at an extremely young age. By the time he was 15, Doobie was already producing his own music. His rhymes and beats captivated everyone around him with his unique style of entertaining punch lines yet serious demeanor. Later, Doobie moved to Brooklyn with childhood rap partner Benny Blanco, one of the hottest producers on the market today. They lived with producer and DJ Disco D learning about music in every sense. Doobie had multiple tracks produced by Disco D and to this day he consistently works with bass master Benny Blanco. Regrettably, Disco D passed away and Doobie moved back to the Washington, DC area where he took Disco D's mantra "Hustle Harder" to the next level. He has embraced music in every facet of his life. When you listen to Doobie's music, it's like getting slapped in the face with baby powder after you found out the girl you're trickin' spent your year's salary at JC Penny; it's like Jack Johnson meets Jack Daniels; it's sexatron 5000; it's like Payless started selling Fendi; it's the electronic banger beats that you always want to turn up. Everything about the Doobie-Style is far from ordinary. Most recently, Doobie has made his mark in the industry with the group Chickbeaters, based out of Los Angeles, and Bromax based out of New York City.
