SmokE who by law is considered Courtney Nelson, was born October 17, 1982 in Houston, TX. Back and forth until he was 13, he would go between Houston and neighboring city Baytown. Thats what makes him feel that his father created a monster, because with Baytown being prodominately white, he feels he learned how to rob both sides. Once he ended up back in his primary neighborhood, Studewood, as a teen he was mostly known as an athlete, but when away from sports he was running the streets with his crew. After one year at the University of Houston, once his aunt died it was back to the streets and thats when musice became a part of life. He started with a rap and a singing group at the same time, but kept rapping when a good friend name Popeye (known as P.O.P from Knockin Doors Down with Pimp C) offered him a spot to team with him and another friend. Since then, SmokE has just grinded his way into getting better and better. "I took a lot of losses, I've seen and been thru a whole lot, but now I just let go and let God".PAY ATTENTION!!!!!!!
