Sometimes, you have to feel like shit to feel good.

About Me

Half Justice Seeker, Half Hopeless Romantic, and Half Groucho Marx, this freak of nature and fractions descended from a place unknown with a mission to do stuff unto the populous best described as "most righteous." Armed with only his snake-like moves, his uncanny resourcefulness, and endless supply of sarcasm, he goes forth into the world, to abolish stupidity, support the underdogs, and bust a mad chill along the way.
Or.......
You might want to call me the typical sociable college male. After all, I go to school, work, see movies, play videogames, get crunk, and party, and whatever else life says I should do with my night off.
I'm quite sociable, I tend to prefer chill parties with good conversations and mixed drinks, or just meeting people through other friends or even strangers with the same interests as me (some of them are my best friends!). I'm always willing to give new things a try. I'm a very honest person, and I try to be the best damn friend I can possibly be. I try to pride myself in being reliable; if I fail a friend, I take it to heart. People always seem to remember me even when I don't remember them; so I must say I do leave an impression on people;)

My Interests

-I like to try everything at least once. If I like it, I try to learn more about it.

-Somewhat of a writer. I plan on becoming a journalist, since I enjoy recording events and retelling them with a bit of flair (see my blogs). I must be crazy though, since I'm horrible about deadlines.

-I have a spiritual side that I express through martial arts and meditation. I've been practicing Tai Chi for quite some time now, but the truth is I have little time for it. But I enjoy it when I get the chance.

-I'll follow the occasional anime that catches my eye, and I don't really care if you saw it "before it was cool" or "before they brought it to America." I'll watch it when I god damn please.

-I like racing, in any form, whether it's in a car, on foot, or whatever contraption can go fast. It's just something I can't seem to resist.

-I'm a thespian. In other words, an actor. I wish my major WAS theatre, but since UTSA sucks and UT Austin is but a pipe dream right now, it's 3rd string choice, communications with a focus on journalism, (2nd was game design)

-I'm a gamer, always have been, always will be, and I most likey won't ever grow out it. It's made me a bit of a competitive person, since all my life I've dealt with being picked on because I lacked skill at one thing or another. Matt's cockiness also rubbed off on me, so when I get in the groove, I'm laughing and saying a lot of silly things. I play most action or rpgs, but competitively it's only fighting games. Mainly Super Smash Bros Melee (and soon to be Brawl), but I also play Street Fighter and Guilty Gear.

And, ummm, the occasional sneaking mission is also good.

..

I'd like to meet:

A girl who can actually hold a conversation, knows what she wants in life, and doesn't have a lot of emotional baggage. Having dealt with the opposite of that in the past, I'd rather meet a girl who doesn't completely hate herself. Not too much to ask, right?

(Oh, who am I kidding, I'll always fall for the crazy ones. Can't say we can choose who we fall in love with.)

Dude bros that know how to bust a mad chill.

Fellow warriors, whether it's in the ring or on the couch playing videogames, I welcome a challenge.

yeah.......

feel free to respond.

Music:

I'll listen to it all, whatever makes me feel good. Rock, Jazz, Blues, Rap, Classical, it's all good. Except country. It's never good. Ever. -Classic Rock like Led Zepplin, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Guns n Roses, Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden, Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles.......

-Modern rock like Tool, Nirvana, Bright Eyes, Foo Fighters, The Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Green Day, Pavement, Cake, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers......

-As for niche stuff, orchrestal rock ala the Transiberian Orchresta, and progressive music like Sigur Ros.

-SOME rap, that mainly being older artists like the Notorious BIG, Tupac Shakur, NWA, and the Beastie Boys. And Del the Funkee Homosapien.

-a little J-rock, mainly being the Pillows who recorded the soundtrack for FLCL,

-techno, albiet GOOD techno, most of which can be found at ocremix.org

Here is a few of the flavors of the week:

Movies:

Super Mario Bros: Frustration

What does it sound like to play the hardest Mario levels of all time?(note: this video originally was found on tuduo.com, and I merely added a fun and profane soundtrack, because I know exactly how frustrating this can be) Ummm..... Ghostbusters.

Really, I'll watch anything. But here's my section where I toss my favorite picks from around the net. Why I play Robo Ky (behold the last round comeback!)

Television:

Adult Swim, the last bastion of original entertainment on television. And occasionally the history channel or TLC or things of that nature. I'm just not one to sit down and channel surf anymore, mainly because I've gone without a cable connection in my room for a very long time.

Books:

Douglas Adams, J.R.R. Tolkein, Robert Heinlein, Ian Fleming, and the occasional graphic novel, American or Japanese, whatever I feel in the mood for.

Heroes:

The wise that guide us with their wisdom.

A true warrior:

But most of all, any friend that will go out of their way to support another in their time of need.

Final Smash 2 Special Report
