My Interests

My interests, in a not-so-orderly fashion, are: eat; sleep; doing all my normal bodily functions; drawing and sketching; read; cooking; music; annoying people who dare to annoy me in the first place; chatting; chilling w/ my friends, and writing. I'm also a shameless technophile. I'm no genius but I sure like em' (..must be the inner nerd in me).

I'd like to meet:

Tough question, bub. The things I want are simple, really: I have no time for fakeness. If you're slightly on the wild & crazy side...or just simply naturally insane...you just might get my attention. And for pity's sake, have a sense of humor. Life is crappy already, so don't make it crappier. A kind heart & an all-around personality is good, too. And please...don't be foolish. Don't be a genius (or think like one), but at least show that you have brains.Other than that...I'm blessed to have good friends & very special people close to me (you KNOW who you are), who are all family to me. Thank y'all for puttin' up with me thru thick & thin. I have a special shout out to my angel & devil of a girl Catherine. I miss you, you crazy evil woman & I'm fortunate to have you. I listen to almost every type of music. But curse havin' a habit, I do have fave musical genres. I love listening to alternative music & just about anything in the techno-rock genre.What bands do I listen to? Here's some: FEAR FACTORY..MUSHROOMHEAD..SLIPKNOT..MUDVAYNE..DISTURBED.. NINE INCH NAILS..COLLIDE..DISMANTLED..GARBAGE..KORN..METALLICCA..LINKI N PARK..RAMMSTEIN...MSI..PLACEBO..ZEROMANCER..SYSTEM OF A DOWN..A PERFECT CIRCLE..TOOL..STATIC-X..ROB ZOMBIE..POWERMAN 5000..etc etc.. Uh-huh. I admit, I'm a metal head. Got a problem w/ that?)..Oh yeah...I'd occasionally listen to country & classical plus a handful of techno, r-n-b, & hip hop songs ( the last 3 are all for the sole purpose of doing my pitiful attempts to dance..but who cares?)

Movies:

Anything that involves with 6 things I must see in a good flick (again, in a not-so-fashionable order):(1) guns (2) explosions (and I mean a LOT of explosions and other things that go "Kaa-BOOOM!!!") (3) women (raaAWWRRRR!!!!) (4) nifty special FX's (damn, they NEVER cease to amaze me) (5) gory stuff (as in..actor .. 1: "hey dude..is that your liver??" actor ..2: "AIIIIEEEE!!!"). (6) humor. (laughter is the best medicine...or so I'm told)......oh, and that DEPENDS on what i'm seeing anyway. heh.

Television:

I try to stay away from the tube as much as I can. But I enjoy watching these shows: toonami; Enterprise; Adult Swim (yeah... aqua team hunger force kicks ass!); various HBO Specials; Real Sex; DBZ, & anything that looks interesting in the History & Discovery Channels.

Books:

I have a confession to make. It's this: I'm a bookworm. A nerd. A geek. It's really hard to put down a good book. I have a pileload of books in my room and I've read all of them. I just wish the public library would be closer to my townhouse! Hell, it'd be nice if it's next to my townhouse. *grins*

Heroes:

I have two heroes. And they're my parents. DAD: A damned good man, devoted father, and a warrior. Muchas gracias, Dad! *tips my hat* MOM: I admit I never knew much about her, but she was quite a fighter and a loving mother. I miss her very dearly everyday. Miss na kita, Ma. "Ride Free Forever".
