West Virginia Love Promotions is the newly organized West Virginia branch of Apparitions Productions. Our goal is to work collectively with other promoters, musicians, and music venues to network and highlight musical talent at all levels.At this time we are working hard to plan our own music events in 2009. Details, bands and all that jazz too come later.Currently, we are working with "The Steves" (Apparitions Productions), promoting and spreading the good word about The Appalachian Uprising in Scottown, OH. We also help The V-Club Street Team, striving to promote the great music and vibes that this club has brought to Huntington, WV.How did we get the name West Virginia Love? Steve Adamski called it,...kinda like calling "Shotgun!" The name became official at our last round-table conference. Ok...Ok...so it wasn't a round table...Had we removed the center leaf it would have been though. And it wasn't really a conference so much as a few friends having some drinks in our kitchen.How it began: To our earliest recollection, it was the summer of '69. Love was in the air and we were consumed to be born in February of '70. We were born with toes-a-tappin' and hands-a-clappin' to every note of music we heard. And the rest is history....What do we get out of this? Chicks, man! Lots of pretty chicks! We are not in it to make money or to be put in the limelight.
