Cellonator

My name is Sachino. I am originally from Georgia (the country). I came to the US in '95 playing in a classical string quartet. I got Bachelors (at LSU) and Masters (at Temple) in classical music but my heart was always in Rock'n'Roll. I started improvising early on. I covered a few electric guitar solos by such guitar giants as Van Halen, Steve Vai and Joe Satriani, on an electric cello, the videos of which can be found on YouTube (cellonator). About 5 years ago I started writing my own songs and singing them. All the songs here are written, recorded, with all of the instruments played by myself. One day I will record the full album in a real professional studio and release it. I also play with a singer/songwriter Jon Delise. I feel very lucky to have had the chance to come to the US. I love my home country and miss it a lot; unfortunately i don't get to go back often. But I also love America, which truly is a land of opportunity!
