About Me

We are all pretty much east coasters. That probably explains why we have the potential to be assholes (especially our guitarist -- he'll tell you so himself)! We like to listen to funky, nutty music and we like to play funky, nutty music. We hope you like it too, but if you don't, we're going to play it anyway. We're not arrogant, we're just sarcastic. Actually, we're quite humble when we are trying to be serious. We pride ourselves on the fact that we check egos at the door and work together collaboratively to create the most intresting music possible. Everything past that is done in the name of fun, art, and good music. But if you really do want to know something about us, here's a few personal tid bits that you most likely don't know. Todd is anxiously awaiting the day when he will finally just feel it. Brad is grumpy and surly, and damn proud of it. Will's guilty pleasure is whipping naked women with his dread locks. Andrew is deathly afraid of vegetables, but eats a whole lot of cheese. If you want to know more about us, come see us live.

You Snooze, You Lose

For about 2 weeks, I've been planning on entering an online poetry competition.  For my $5 entry fee, I could submit 2 poems and have the chance to win $1000.  Seemed like a no-brainer to me...

Selling My Soul Part 2

So by now, you've probably read my rather long-winded explanation of my time share experience.  Now it's time for you to read my rather long-winded poem that I wrote about that experience.  ...

I sold my soul for $100 at Red Lobster!

I've been perusing previous posts recently, and I'm starting to see a pattern that I'd like to break.  So far, this is pretty much a party blog, and while I love writing about all of the cool par...

White Trash Musings

You know you've crossed the line to white trash when you can say that your friends have spent the night sleeping in your RV parked in front of your house.  Jews all across Long Island are turning...

The Hoot Part 6 -- Reflections

I woke up Sunday morning (actually closer to mid-day) to find a beautiful sunny day.  Quite different from the previous day's weather.  Van Eden had already cleared out substantially.  ...

The Hoot Part 5 -- Deliverance

Between 5 and 6 PM, people start showing up in drips and drabs.  It was difficult to discern this because of the layout of Van Eden.  As I've said before, Van Eden Ranch is a sprawling 200+ ...

The Hoot Part 4 -- The Big Flop

It was probably about noon before any of us stirred from our stupor-induced sleep.  Foggy-headed and bleary-eyed, I emerged from the confines of the RV to survey the surroundings and take stock o...

The Hoot Part 2 -- Last Minute Planning

I don't know if I should really make this post, since it lets you all know how truly disorganized this party was.  Truth be known, it's amazing that this party even existed at all this summer.&nb...
