There's where I'd like to be in my life and there's where I am...I'd like to be a rock star or a famous author and have been playing tug of war with my own personal creative direction since about the age of 16. I have so many creative projects on the backburner, it's just plain pathetic. I have almost 2 albums worth of partially finished music I've written, but no band. I have a novel that's "finished"--but I can't stop tinkering with it. One day I hope to make a living on doing something I actually like to do, but since getting out of college, it's been one dead-end job after the other. As I write this now, I am 6 days away from selling my first home in Asheville. NC and am heading West.I am married...and this is has been a very good thing for me. I married to my High School sweetheart and first serious girlfriend after almost 10 years of dating. This is another thing that I am: a procrastinator.I grew up in a military family, I went to 2 preschools, 4 elementary schools, 2 high schools and 1 college...and this is what I've learned from constantly having to be the new kid: your true friends will stay in touch. And when you're seeing your true, good friends for the first time and ages, it seems like it was always yesterday. So that's why I'm jumping on the MySpace boat...I don't want to forget the countless number of cool people I've met through the years. Let's always keep in touch.
