ALEKSANDR KHODCHENKO1_Can you tell us the story behind Alexander Khochenko?Has making music always been a part of your life,or did something inspire you to do so?I graduated from National School of Art and the Ukrainian Academy of Arts. Music began in childhood.Emphasis was placed on studio work.20 years I have been records of their own albums in the studioand created the world resembles a fabulous book. Concerts had been very limited.Basically, the concerts were intended for artists,poets,musicians and film directors.The main time of my life arose in recording music,expirience of the sound, creating a space of music.I love music of the 60's.At that time there were many extravagant, avant-garde ideas.This world jf 60-s, I would like to revive.Recently, I present my music on the Internetand find new listeners with non-standard thinking.And my audience and I see that people are interested in musicfrom around the world.I collaborated with musicians from around the world.We are united by love of music the 60's.2_ Are there other Ukranian bands that you admire?Is it easy to become a musician in the Ukraine these days?Musicians in Ukraine is quite a lot, but music is not enough.It is conditionally possible to passing trends and fashion. Many of the musicians involved in self-expression,but this is not enough for the music world.I like ukrainian folk music, as well as sacred music. I like the music Inver Izmailov, Valentin Silvestrov.Their music is comparable with good examples of world music.3_ Can you tell us about the nightlife in Kiev?Night life in Kiev is limited.Relax in night clubs, nothing more.)4_ Many of Youri Lienko's films were censored in the late 60'sin the time of the URSS.Was this also the case for Ukranian music? Has the independance of the Ukraine changed anythingin it's cultural life?Freedom is in the soul of man.Whatever was the dictatorship, he was awful,but the free-minded people have always been.Today, thanks to comfortothers were caused by the independence of the values. These values are immediate.Deep ideas no preference is given to commerce.And art is an inheritance of domestic freedoms.Modern Ukrainian music is willing to please the masses of people,not bears this creativity.So what happened in the underground when the Soviet Union,as happens now. With the difference that is no cause for excitement, as in the USSR.Maximum interesting is not in the mainstream,and in the range of talented people in the underground.5_ What are your wildest dreams in terms of being a musician?I am interested to collaborate with musicians minded.Create a beautiful world of music.Also, I want to extend my studiowith additional technical capabilityto more fully embodiment of ideas.6_ Can you tell us about cinemas in the Ukraine.Are the big part of Ukrainian life or are they rather limited?Many movie theaters, they have visited.Basically, the audience wondered blockbuster7. ...There are not enough movie theaters with a special program, retrospectives of classic cinema.7_What are your favourite films and film makers, and why are they? I like films, Fellini, Tarkovsky, Mikhalkov, Chaplin, Antonioni, Godard, Paradzhanov, Bergman, Forman and many more ... In these films, I find the art, skill and beauty.
