Ventura County IVAW is one of the newest chapters of Iraq Veterans Against the War. We have three simple mission statements.1. An immediate end to the occupation of Iraq and withdrawl of all US military personnel.2. Full and easy to obtain health care for veterans and service members. Notably in the area of mental health and treatment for PTSD.3. Full reparations to the Iraqi people.We don't blame the soldiers on the ground. Hell, most of us were the soldiers on the ground. We blame the leadership and shoddy interpretations of the rules of engagement by commanding officers as well as the administration and the house for willfully violating UN security council resolutions and Geneva convention policies.
