About Me
Skateside is a skatepark held on the campus of Westside Christian Church. It runs on Friday afternoons from 4pm-7pm. The skaters skate 2 sessions during the afternoon/ evening and there is something we do called, "Halftime". Pastor Ron, along with the Skateside staff participate in sharing a message of God with the youth. We tell these kids that God loves them and we want them to know how much of Skateside's success is because of God. Skateside is a great place to hang out. We have a free monthly BBQ on the 1st Friday of the month. On the last Friday of the month we have an outing titled, SKATESIDE STRENGTH. The goal in this is to strengthen the bond of friendships and to give youth opportunities to participate in events and outings that are outside of their everyday lives. There is also an annual skate contest that caps off the winter and spring skating season.
