About Me

-- Breakbeat from Lebanon & the Middle East --
Lebanon-based producer Gme is no newcomer to music production. He has been producing music ever since he got his hands on simple beginner production software at the age of 16. Seduced and converted by Hiphop music, Gme started working with fellow friends MC Zoog and Mista-Dee forming together one of the earliest Hip-hop crews in Lebanon and the Middle East, "Delinquent Utterance."
By the time he had finished high-school, Gme was seeking a new, more personal outlet for his creative energies, so he teamed up with local lebanese talent DJ Ceasar K, one of the pioneers of breakbeats in Lebanon and the Middle East. Gme and Ceasar K kicked off bringing the worlds of Production and DJing together to form a never-seen-before type of duo act in the region in 2005.
Laying down an original sound of oriental Lebanese flavored breakbeats and tech-house, Gme has been at the forefront of middle-eastern dance music ever since; he has quickly grown to become one of the most respected producers in the Middle East.
In 2006, Gme and Ceasar K worked with vocal talents Sarine and Martine releasing their first radio track by the name of "Different to me now" featuring Martine on vocals. The track directly received great response reaching number 1 on "Lebanon Radio One's" top 20 chart in 2006.
In 2007, Gme released more than 10 tracks under "Vibe Lebanon Records" alongside partner Ceasar K. The song "Regressive Funk" by Gme & Ceasar K which reached number 4 on www.beatport.com's top 10 breakbeats tracks in Jan. '08 was one of Gme's latest achievements. The song that blends a speaker-shattering electro bass line and a hard breaky rhythm received great feedback from DJ's in Lebanon and all over the world.
By 2008, Gme showed no signs of slowing down, completing alongside Ceasar K, a series of performances in "The Silver Factory" (Beirut, Lebanon) Dec, 28, 2007, Nebenhoehlen (Munich, Germany) Feb, 21, 2008, Couch Club (Innsbruck, Austria) Feb 22, 2008, Salon Leopold (Vienna, Austria) Feb 23, 2008, Café Leopold (Vienna, Austria) Feb 25, 2008 and "The Silver Factory" (Beirut, Lebanon) March 23, 2008.
Recently, Gme has been producing solo, showcasing his musical depth and versatility in more than 15 tracks already in 2009 that are yet to be released. He is currently working on more tech-inspired breakbeats tunes and is looking forward to signing a record deal and releasing his productions in the near future.
