The band was first composed by Angmar (Vocals) / Archon (Guitar) / Voldred (Guitar) / Faethon (Bass) / Dionysus (Keyboard) and Melkart (Drums).
They started rehearsing a few days after their very first meeting. Rehearsal kept on going, songs were composed, lyrics were written and the result was that two months later, the band was able to record the first demo CD by the name "Preludium".Afterwards, Dusk Eternal started to perform in live shows.
Some of the scheduled concerts took place in Patras, on May 2005 with Sacred Spell and Winter Path, on November 2005 with Naer Mataron and Miasma3263, 2nd of April 2005 with Black Winter, while other concerts were performed in Athens at Underworld Club on October of 2005, then in Thessaloniki on March of 2006 with Naer Mataron, with W.E.B. in Athens at AN Club, on February of 2006 and two more gigs in Patras later, at Claymore's Arise Club, on April of 2006 with Astral Aeon, Winter Path and Enshrined, and on March of 2007 with Unholy Ritual, Veinen and Miasma3263.After six months from the beginning of Dusk Eternal, Dionysus had to leave the band.
He was replaced by a session keyboard player for a short period of time until Demona joined Dusk Eternal and took Dionysus' place.In summer of 2006 Faethon gave up the band, due to personal reasons.
Through many fruitless interviews that lasted all summer long, Necrosis, one of Unholy Throne's guitarists, [www.myspace.com/unholy_throne] met the band on September 2006 and he is until this very moment, the band's brand new bass guitar player.In winter of 2008, together with Miasma3263 and Empathy, they joined Unholy Throne on their mini tour, organized by Dark Angel Promotion [www.darkangelpromotion.net] starting in Thessaloniki, continuing in Patras and some more cities.Recently, one more musician from Unholy Throne, Nation, joined Dusk Eternal as a new keyboard player.At the present time, the band spends all of its time and effort in recording their first full-length album.
