The Grand Cru

About Me

Introducing The Grand Cru, a four piece musical collective from Accrington (BB5), North West U.K.
The Grand Cru’s music draws its sound from the many influences of the group ranging from Hip Hop, Metal and Indie through to Motown and Electronica. This vast range of influence mixed with The Grand Cru’s thriving ambition to create music that is fresh and new provide the back drop for the sound you hear, blending electronic sounds with traditional instruments. The vocal content reflects strongly on the highs and lows of life in a northern town, taking in friendships lost and found, relationship matters, day to day observations and general stories of issues and misuse.
The live setup of The Grand Cru consists of two vocalists, a dj and a bass guitarist. This combination provides a blend of samples, scratching, programmed beats and melodies, with driving bass lines and a unique vocal delivery.
The Grand Cru aspire to create a style for people to enjoy, whether through live or recorded formats and to progress positively through the many different factors of the music industry.
