About Me

I became a born again Christian and divorced both in 1986, and no it wasn't a coincidence. Jesus hangs out at the end of ropes. :] I haven't dated in all the years since then. Don't really know if I ever will. ------------ My dad died in 2003 & my mom died in 2004. Since then I've had to adjust not only to a life without them in it (I miss them tremendously!), but to one without the mission of taking care of them in their failing health and without the mission of raising children. I'm on my own here & it's a little bit scary, but also in a way, quite nice. ------------I went through a very difficult time after having to sell my Mom's house in May of 2005. As if losing My folks wasn't tragic enough, I also lost the home of my childhood & the home of my children's childhood. Don't know if I'll ever totally get over it, but thankfully now I have a place of my own. It's just a rental for the time being, but at least I got all of my stuff out of storage. :} It's a wonderful house perfectly suited for me! ------------I have three terrific children who are my best friends, and one delightful grandson. They are all the light of my life & I miss them! ------------I am a trained high school English teacher who would love to be teaching, but for some reason, God has me doing other work right now. One of these days I'll be a writer. ------------God is so good to me! ------------(Why doesn't this thing allow you to form a paragraph?)
