Waiting for P, as the things he loved more than oxygen slowly floated away on the breeze, was Dooks. No-one was more surprised than he to find it there in all its glory. The first song written was 'Version of Me' which features the now trademark swirling ebow, acoustic backbone and shakey but heartfelt vocals-and all this because the right drum beat couldnt be found.From there the songs have been raining down and P does his best to sweep them up and bring them to you. Dooks isn't for everyone but for those of you who it clicks with may have just found a buried treasure.P also plays with the mighty Tobin's Spirit alongside Paul Holland from the Exploding Like/The Like/Underider days. The album 'Massive Nature' will fulfill all your dark acoustic needs very soon.There is also a writer/producer project with a very different flavour coming very soon and we will of course keep you posted.
