I am here for Dating and Friends

About Me

I love sharks. no questions about it.
I'm an animal person...not a people person. I would rather deal with a wounded wolf than a person.
I work for a Pet Sitting company, there is no other job that compares.
I absolutely love numbers. I love to play with them. Add/multi/subtract/divide them to come up with different numbers.I have an amazing memory for numbers and I pride myself on that.
I'm a bit of a dork and not ashamed of it.
I should be a psychologist. I will be one day.
I'm not an English major. So don't expect me to be articulate.
I could sit for hours just watching people. Studying their behaviors, predicting what they will do/say next.
I pride myself on the friends I have. The company I keep.
I love music...and not 'todays' music. I'm obssessed with Pink Floyd. There have been days where I just sit and listen to them for hours, letting myself sink into every chord they play. Really feeling the music and it's mood.
No, I am not a stoner.
I love Jazz.
I love the sound of a saxophone. It brings a sly smile to my lips.
I have traveled to places that I never want to come home from.
I have tested the boundries of friendsip and learned from my experiences.
I am a great friend. and I will ALWAYS listen.
I read a lot. A LOT.
I don't truly have any Idols.
I can be very sensitive. I am a Sensi.
I only care what a FEW people think of me. Despite general thought.
I'm not your average 'oh I broke a nail-blonde bombshell' girl.
I work for a metal fabrication company and I get my hands dirty.
My dad sang Frank Zappa songs to put me to sleep. and many more unconventional songs. they always worked.
I love the water.
I scuba dive. and there's nothing like the feeling of being able to breath under water.
I can sail.
I day dream constantly. always off in my own world.
I have these moments...I call them Saraisms.
Don't ask me to pronounce oatmeal. I can't do it.
There are no words to describe me. you just need to get to know me.
sound of the rythm. you stop and hold everything.
Does anybody here remember Vera Lynn?
Remember how she said that
We would meet again
Some sunny day?
Vera! Vera!
What has become of you?
Does anybody else here
Feel the way I do?
every closet is a walk-in closet if you try hard enough.
...ugly people? what the mother fucker!
...which will make me as happy as a gay man accepting his fake Oscar in the shower with a shampoo bottle.
this is, LIKE, my boomstick.

My Interests

.. STOP SHARK FINNING!! please. PLEASE.

WHAT IS SHARK FINNING? Shark finning refers to the removal and retention of shark fins and the discard at sea of the carcass. The shark is most often still alive when it is tossed back into the water. Unable to swim, the shark slowly sinks toward the bottom where it is eaten alive by other fish. Shark finning takes place at sea so the fishers have only the fins to transport. Shark meat is considered low value and therefore not worth the cost of transporting the bulky shark bodies to market. Any shark is taken-regardless of age, size, or species. Longlines, used in shark finning operations, are the most significant cause of losses in shark populations worldwide. Shark finning is widespread, and largely unmanaged and unmonitored. Shark finning has increased over the past decade due to the increasing demand for shark fins (for shark fin soup and traditional cures), improved fishing technology, and improved market economics. Shark specialists estimate that 100 million sharks are killed for their fins, annually. One pound of dried shark fin can retail for $300 or more. It's a multi-billion dollar industry.Impacts of Shark Finning Loss and devastation of shark populations around the world. Experts estimate that within a decade, most species of sharks will be lost because of longlining. Unsustainable fishery. The massive quantity of sharks harvested and lack of selection deplete shark populations faster than their reproductive abilities can replenish populations. Threatens the stability of marine ecosystems. Loss of sharks as a food staple for many developing countries. Local waters are invaded by large industrial, foreign fishing vessels that threaten traditional sustainable fisheries. Threatens socio-economically important recreational fisheries. Obstructs the collection of species-specific data that are essential for monitoring catches and implementing sustainable fisheries management. Wasteful of protein and other shark-based products. Up to 99 per cent of the shark is thrown away.

sharks kill 1 person a year. ...deer kill 138 people a year.
