I am a proud mother of an 18 year old who has just joined the reserves. After banging heads for the past 3 years, she and I have finally become friends again. Guess its true, that two women can't live under the same roof....lol. I am ready to think about my future now that she is soon to be on her own. Not sure what I am looking for at this point, maybe my future will find me.... The things i enjoy the most are camping, fishing, gardening, canning my own vegetables and sitting by a campfire. I also enjoy shooting pool, but really don't go out much anymore to bars. I would like to meet someone someday who is happy with who he is, and just looking to love someone, not control them. I am a very faithful person and looking for my best friend..someone to go on those camping trips with and snuggle on the couch watching tv together, but I need my space now and then too. I have a good job, and am fully capable of taking care of myself, but it gets old coming home to an empty house and spending the holidays alone. I could care less how much money someone has or what he owns..what I'm looking for is in the heart, and I will stay alone till I find it. My friends and family are the most important parts of my life, and most of my friends have been my friends for 30 years. I only have friends that I can trust, and I have chosen the best...hope they feel the same.
