I'm a walking contradiction. I have an old fashioned, chivalrous sensibility, but a witty and wicked sense of humor that would make George Carlin blush. In other words, I would hold the door open for you, but most likely make a comment about your ass. I would expect the same out of you.I often lay awake at night and wonder, "What would Jesus do for a Klondike bar?" I always fall asleep right before I come to an answer.I enjoy being with people who are able to laugh AT themselves, rather than others. Although, I will endlessly mock stupid people (including myself when I do stupid things. . . which is usually on a daily basis).The sight of a grown man wearing a baseball cap out in public on a Friday night (and he's NOT at a game) makes me weep for evolution.I dislike sports. I'll watch the Super Bowl for the commercials and go to a Dodger game for the Dogs. That's my threshold.I often think I was born in the wrong decade. I feel as if I belong in a black and white film. . . during a time when manners weren't merely a novelty and cell phones didn't exist. Speaking of cell phones, I can't stand people who talk on them in restaurants.I enjoy cooking immensely, but hardly have the desire to make anything too complicated since its only me that will be eating. However, that doesn't stop me from at least experimenting from time to time.Self-deprecating (not DEFECATING) humor is aces in my book.According to my niece, "I may act like Clark Kent, but I'm still not cool enough to be Superman." And she'll wonder why she won't get anything from me for her birthday this year.
