Disfunctional Method is a Pop Punk/Alternative Rock Band from Plattsmouth, Nebraska. Rocklikethis.com says, "Disfunctional Method from Nebraska is a Pop-Punk band that resembles Blink182. The catchy guitar rifts and energetic beats keep you hooked. Check them out!" Disfunctional Method formed in August 2007 playing covers of Blink 182, Sum 41, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, NOFX and other bands. They started playing their own music in January of 2008 starting with a fast song called "quick heal" and progressed musically and lyrically each song. They played their first show at the Plattsmouth Public library and moved on to playing shows at places like The Rock(papillion), The Roxbury(omaha), Sokol Underground(omaha), and at the new venue in Plattsmouth called The Ember. They wanted a CD so they contacted Josh from City Lights Studios. After talking him down in price they scrounged up enough money to record a 3 song EP. They recorded drums in the basement of the Plattsmouth Library and guitar, bass, and vocals in the basement of the band's house because josh was moving to florida and didn't have a studio. After a few more shows, and very little money from those shows, the band decided to play one last show at the Plattsmouth Library, where it all began and record their first full length CD by themselves in the winter time. It is 2009 and the band is finishing up recording. We will have to wait and see what happens next!!!
