Trinity Lane (Born Anne Denmark on June 10th, 1962) is a female Country Singer/Songwriter originally from Neptune, NJ. At the age of 6 months old, her family moved to South Florida. Trinity started singing from the time she could talk, beginning in church and continued throughout school. Trinity participated in all choral activities in school, which is where she received the vocal training needed to enhance her vocal abilities. In high school Trinity became a member of a vocal group, created in her junior high school chorus class, and they called themselves ‘The Village Singers’. Trinity’s high school choral teacher Patricia Hitchcock worked extensively with Trinity teaching her breathing control and vocal control. After extensive training, Trinity competed in State Competition through her high school chorus class, performing a solo of ‘Vivaldi’, which is like classical music. Trinity received Superior ratings from all judges and was told she had a unique vocal ability and was given a great gift.
It wasn’t long after this that Trinity knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that she was meant to be a singer. Since then Trinity performed in several choral activities in school as well as in church, and did extensive traveling with her church choir, going to such places as Tennessee, Michigan, and New York, performing Gospel music, which Trinity says “It’s my number one passion, because GOD gave me the talent I have”. Trinity got married at the early age of 17, so her music was put on the back burner for a while. But Trinity says “I never gave up on my dream, I just postponed it for a while”. So in 1999 Trinity started her music career once again, and kicked it off by participating in the State Competition held by Orange Blossom Country Music Association. This is where her career would really blossom, because Trinity received 2 Horizon Awards for ‘Female Vocalist & Female Entertainer of the Year.
Later that year, Trinity was approached by the owner and operator of the Ft. Meade Jamboree, and requested that Trinity perform for their Jamboree. This was after seeing Trinity performing in Winter Haven Florida during the Florida Citrus Festival. After performing at this venue such songs as ‘Crazy’, ‘Stand By Your Man’, and many other Country classics. This venue became a regular gig for Trinity. So from that point on, Trinity performed there every year. In 2002, Trinity signed with an Indie label ‘Ready Records Worldwide’, and this was where Trinity had her first number one song in 2004 on The Music Review Independent Inspirational Charts in New York with “Worth Calvary”. Shortly thereafter, Trinity hired Miranda Promotions International to further promote her musical career, and appeared on several shows, including 2 major TV Shows, “Nashville Video Showcase” and “Music City Explosion”. In 2005, Trinity performed at Fan Fair at the Music City Café and Ms Kellies.
Trinity received 9 nominations in 2005 through the Texas River Best of Country Music, where she walked away with Duo of the year with Mark Fields and International Female Vocalist of the year. Trinity says “I was so surprised to be nominated for nine categories, but to then walk away with International Female Vocalist of the year, and Duo of the year was truly a blessing, and I give all the fans and my heavenly father all the credit, because I couldn’t do any of this without them”.
Trinity was preparing to shoot her very first music video for ‘Worth Calvary’, and we asked Trinity to describe for us what that was like and this was her response “It was amazing, a lot of fun, and you could feel the lord there with us! When we watched back the raw footage of the video shoot, where there should’ve been loud noises, there wasn’t any, such as the loud cars going by, which there was a lot of them, at the time we shot this video it was almost 6pm, but in the video it looked more like early afternoon, and it was really cloudy like it was getting ready to rain. When you watch the video, you can see where all of a sudden the wind starts blowing and then the birds fly up to the tree, right after that scene the wind stopped and the birds were gone, and Deke Little (Who was shooting and producing the video) said there were no birds there nor wind when he was shooting the video during that scene. This is how we knew that the lord was there and was pleased in what we were doing”.
Trinity received more nominations through the Tennessee Country Music Alliance (TCMA) in 2006, for Gospel music video of the year and Female vocalist of the year, and she was awarded Gospel video of the year with ‘Worth Calvary’ and Silver Elite performer of the year. When we asked Trinity what her most memorable moment in her career has been up to this point her response was “When I went to Nashville to record my ‘Simple Country Girl’ CD, I had the pleasure of meeting World renowned singer/songwriter Don Lloyd Chapel, who was married to Tammy Wynette”.
In 2007, Trinity received more nominations through TCMA, and was awarded ‘Gold Female Vocalist of the year’, ‘Gold songwriter of the year’ and ‘Silver Elite album of the year with ‘Simple Country Girl’. In early 2008 Trinity shot her second music video of ‘Things Could Be Better’. Trinity has always performed Gospel and Traditional Country music, and at this point in her career she decided it was time for a change, and this is when Trinity, her producer Keith Bradford from KMA Records and Miranda Leake from Miranda Promotions International started shopping for Country Pop songs for Trinity’s next album, which was released in 2008 entitled ‘Girls Like Fast Cars Too’.
Radio and fans alike accepted this new style from Trinity very well, and the first release was the title track ‘Girls Like Fast Cars Too’ which blasted up the charts peaking at #6 on New Music Weekly Main Country charts. The second release from this same album ‘Real Bad Mood’ ended up being named as the best in your face song of the year and peaked at # 2 on New Music Weekly Main Country Chart., as well as bringing Trinity a nomination through New Music Weekly, New Music Awards as Country Breakthrough Artist of the year in 2008. The title track also makes a mark in the Country Trax Indie Countdown for the year 2008 by charting at #70 for the top 80 Country songs for 2008, after peaking at #11 on same said chart.
