My name is Steven Rogers, I'm a soldier. I was born in New York City on July 4th 1918. In my late teens and early twenties I dreamed of becoming an artist, but in 1941 I was inspired to join the United States Army to fight the Nazi war machine. I was selected for a top secret project called Operation Rebirth. After taking the Super Soldier Serum, created by Dr. Emil Erskine, my body reached the peak of human fitness. I was faster and stronger than I ever imagined I could be. I was given the title Captain America, and became the symbol of my great nation.
