The SweetTones...born of the desire of 3 Louisiana musicians to get their acoustic ya-yas out. Brenda Lowry, Ronnie Vice, and Joshua "Bubba" Murrell perform with (and have performed with) other groups for years, including Blue Merlot, the South Louisiana Blues Revue, the Calico Cats, and others.
Ronnie Vice, one of the area's best-known blues artists, continues to run an ongoing Blues Jam at Dean's on the River. Ronnie has played professionally for 4 decades.
We're also very proud of Joshua "Bubba" Murrell, Grammy winner! Joshua engineered and co-produced Terrance Simien's Grammy-winning Live! Worldwide! CD.
