About Me

All too often, my thoughts wander to what I'd be able to do if I won the lottery. The basic agenda would be taking care of the people I love the most and keeping them close to me while spending each day doing something I'd never done before. Until that happens - I've got it pretty good._______________________________________________________ _______Now reading "State of Denial" by Bob Woodward

My Interests

Music, good people, soul evolution, early Christian history, criminal psychology, cheese, wine, conspiracy theories, jokes about feline immunodeficiency virus, astrology/tarot/psychics, day dreaming, leftist thought, writing, reading but no arithmetic, cooking, diet coke, hugs and kisses, inner peace and early retirement.

I'd like to meet:

Boys and girls of all ages in the pursuit of higher truths. And a benefactor (you could even call me Pip).

Music:

I hate radio-ready-rock like Creed, Nickelback, Fuel, Tantric, Goo-Goo Dolls, Barenaked Ladies and all of the other crap bands that sound exactly the same. I do however rather enjoy the following: 311, Sublime, Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, Beasties, Tool, Maxwell, Alien Ant Farm, Static-X, Mushroomhead, THE MARS VOLTA, Gwen Stefani, My Life With the Thrill Kill Cult, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Incubus, Shootyz Groove, Bob Marley, the Doors, Guns n'Roses, No Doubt, Billie Holiday, Blink 182, Prince, Maroon 5, Missy Elliot, Mudvayne, Busta Rhymes, System of a Down, Tribe Called Quest, Louis XIV, Damien Rice, George Michael, G Love, Biohazard, Matthew Sweet, Janes Addiction, My Chemical Romance, Porno for Pyros, Eminem, the Killers, Korn, Bloodhound Gang, early Metallica, Buju Banton, Garth Brooks, Faith No More (and everything Mike Patton touches), the Donnas, AFI, the Deftones, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Jet, some Soundgarden, Meat Puppets, Velvet Revolver, Soul Asylum, Muse, Coheed and Cambria, U2, De La Soul, CKY, Sparta, David Bowie and Ziggy Stardust, Bjork, the Lemonheads, Slipknot, Rage Against the Machine, Justin Timberlake, Lenny Kravitz, Rah Diggah, Etta James, Otis Reading...will they let me fill this whole thing up?

Movies:

Well - ahem - Point Break, Lost in Translation, Saving Silverman, Kindergarden Cop, Seven, the Matrix...not too much of a movie buff.

Television:

the Simpsons, TLC, Nip/Tuck, LOST, the History Channel, the Discovery Channel, Court TV

Books:

100 Years of Solitude, Lord of the Flies, Brave New World, Life is So Good, Many Lives Many Masters, The Temple of My Familiar, I Sing the Body Electric, Story of Karma, History of God....mostly non fiction...and ok, chick lit.

Heroes:

Perennially positive thinkers, Bill Clinton, my Mom, non-corrupt and/or evil police and fire men, Jesus, Ghandi, Mother Theresa, hopeless romantics in action, John Cusack, people that give great compliments, and those who don't like pornography.

A couple of years ago, when Ludacris came out with his "Fantasy" song, I said to my brother "you know, the only way anyone in the industry is going to be able to top this is to actually engage in inte...
