Born in the year 1975 and raised in Denmark, That Fucking Sara’s first contact to music was through electric boogie. In 1983 she forced her mum to buy her the Hey You The Rock Steady Crew 7“, which got her forever hooked on vinyl and eventually led to her activities on the decks roughly a decade later…
In 1994 she put on a legendary rave in her apartment that was such a smash-up success she was cleaning for two weeks afterwards. Since that experience she decided to continue sophisticated partying – just anywhere and everywhere else but home. This has lead her to be involved with many different venues and events including a dance theatre in London, various squats in Zurich, an after-party for Erasure, an art opening for Obey, numerous street parades and small dark clubs, a whole slew of gay parties and plenty of other happy fests.
In Copenhagen she was part of the collectives organising Dameulove - a monthly series of concerts and DJ gigs by female artists - and was the founder of Ladyfest Denmark. Since relocating to Berlin in 2005, she’s enriched the town’s nightlife with her Hip-Hop, Disco, Electro, Booty/Miami Bass, Grime and Italo tunes at evenings such as Skon Sondag at X-Berg’s Möbel Olfe, a warm-up gig for Wiley (who never showed) and MFS at legendary club SO36, Killekill at the holy Berghains Kantine and latest the opening of Berlin Porn film festival .
The magical ride behind the decks have taken Sara to a lot of different places and the journey has only just begun…
