Covering Fire is the result of taking life too seriously for too long. So long that one day you wake up, look in the mirror, and just begin laughing. It's the day you realize there's more to life than loss and the moment it can finally be seen.

Sun Tzu Cupid, the debut LP from Covering Fire, depicts the often untold story of what happens *after* the melodrama. Sarcastic yet passionate, Sun Tzu Cupid humorously explores life after heartbreak from reflection to reality; recovery to revenge.

Created in Baltimore, Md, and based out of Los Angeles, Covering Fire is a one man acoustic band harnessing punk, post-emo, and rock into an arsenal of energy coming to a club, campus, or street corner near you.

So go ahead. Do yourself a favor: try turning back on the lights; buy a hair dye other than black; and most importantly enjoy the chewy goodness that is Covering Fire.

"Hey guys, just got back to my apartment in Hollywood after months away and honestly it's a little eerie. Strange though nothing's changed my whole perspective is different. Especially my version of "home". And of life. And of pretty much everything.

I have to say I'm exhausted in a good way. Like a marathon runner after crossing the finish line. These last few months in Europe have been some of the most amazing, wonderful, eye opening months of my life. Thanks so incredibly much for all of the fans showing up to the shows each and every night. Thanks so much to Randy of White House Booking/Promotions for setting up the tour. And I want to give an extra special thanks to Alex, (a.k.a. "SuperFish"). A lot of fans have claimed to be Covering Fire's number 1 over the years but Alex proved it when saving our asses after our van broke down. The guy let us borrow his aunt's van to play three nights of shows while his uncle fixed our van for free! And on top of that his aunt baked us a cake with the Covering Fire logo on it when we got back. Insane hospitality.

I miss Europe and all our fans already. Covering Fire will be back soon I swear. After I take a nap."
