The Broken Tops
The Broken Tops are a York based indie-blues-rock five piece. Formed in 2006, The Broken Tops met at York St John University and have since become notorious amongst the local student population. Possibly the universities best-known band, winning the YSJ battle of the bands in 2007 and narrowly missing out on first place in the 2008 YSJ battle of the bands. The band have played a variety of venues and events including: Basement (City Screen) York; Fibbers (Bar Fly) York; Neutral Magazine Launch Party and CERT 18 York (now Speakeasy.) The Broken Tops have now signed up to the Orange Unsigned Acts competition...use the link to listen and vote:
