THE GROUP The group Flag-Wavers "Marino Marzano" recalls ancient battles with the ancient tradition of the flag. Our banner celebrates the noble family Marzano that once it governed in Sessa, our colours represent the contrast of the two stronger colors of the heraldry: the gold and the vermilion. In our demonstrations we bring colour and joy, with the vaultings and the throwing of the flags recalling the battles. The group Flag-Wavers Marino Marzano is born and work in the ancient dukedom of Sessa Aurunca involving the young people, it wants to rediscover the values of the folklore, and it promotes gloriously one of the more traditions typical of Italy. The group was born following the initiative of some young people, lovers of the art of the flag, after some years of activity, that have already wanted to add shiny to the existing Historical Procession grafting itself in a consolidated Association and dynamic where they have found reception and collaboration in their initiative. The customs of the members of the group recall the tradition medieval, and they have been inspired by paintings of famous painters of the epoch. The Historical Procession is composed by an organic varying of Flag-Wavers , drummers, trumpeters, and integrated with characters of contour, and it proposes, in a frame of colours and sounds, the feeling to give you up in a very suggestive historical image. Besides, thanks to a great versatility of performances, acquired with years of experience, it can animate from the simple feasts peasant and local parties, thin to important ceremonies and fairs of any kind. The Group is called to give colours to congresses, ceremonies officers and special events what inaugurations, receptions in tourist and commercial centres. His own characteristic is mostly represented in character demonstrations historical what “palii”, challenges, merry-go-rounds and historical corteges. It can perform in varied situations: in limited spaces, in local closed, in movement during a run, but it succeeds in exalting his own choreographic dowries during the exhibitions in ample places, introducing choral games of flags. His by now innumerable exhibitions have been gatherings with warm enthusiasm on big part of the national territory and to the foreign countries. "Sbandieratori Marino Marzano" est une association visant à rappeler les batailles antiques et à mettre en avant les traditions antiques liées à l’époque médiévale. Son nom a un lien avec le famille noble Marzano qui a, par le passé, reigné sur Sessa Aurunca(une ville italienne méridionale du Moyen Age). Les couleurs de cette famille sont l’or et le vermillon qui représentent le contraste des deux plus fortes couleurs héraldiques. L’association nacquit suite à l'initiative de quelques jeunes passionés pour redécouvrir de vieilles traditions, telles les traditions italiennes les plus typiques et celles de Sessa Aurunca. L’association cherche à rester le plus proche possible des traditions antiques, en utilisant des costumes et du matériel inspirés de l'époque. Les tambours sont en bois avec des peaux naturelles et des cordes en chanvre. Les vêtements en velours sont confectionnés à la main et donc de tradition médiévale, ils ont été inspirés de peintures de célèbres peintres de l’époque. Ainsi nos exibtions conviendront parfaitement à des foires de pays mais également lors de cérémonies importantes ou des événements spéciaux. Notre association est représentée dans les palios, les défis, les tournois et les cortèges historiques et a une grande renommée en italie.
