The band started playing together since 2006. Ico, Ale and Mark met in Junior High School when they were 12, and they all shared the passion for pop punk bands like Green Day, Blink 182 and MXPX. The guys decided to create a band so as to have fun together and be the coolest kids in town. The Last Day Of Summer is the result of years playing together in small and cold rooms three times a week for three hours a day. The songs are getting better and better as the guys are improving their ability in playing their own songs and writing potential pop punk hits. Considering the young age of the band (All the guys were born in 1991) and the good feedback that they get playing gig after gig, the hope in a great future is shared by the band. Ico, the vocalist and guitar player says: "We'll never give up. I know it's hard for a band to be noticed in the pop punk world, but I know too that our work will give us what we want. Mark, Ale and I are close friends since we were kids and we'll go on forever playing together our songs with love. Ico - Vocals & Guitar
"Hi my name is Ico. I was born on the 6th of March in 1991. I'm the lead vocalist and the only guitar player in the band. I write songs and I love to play them. Since I was a young kid I'm interested into music. In '98 my dad bought me three great punkrock albums: Dude Ranch by Blink 182, Dookie by Green Day and Americana by The Offspring. Starting from that year music has been part of my everyday life. When I started frequenting Junior High School I met Mark and Ale, I bought myself a guitar and we started the band. I think that my favourite musician is Billie Joe Armstrong, a great singer and guitarist. His songs are great and Green Day are cool too. Then I also like Blink 182, I hope to see them playing together again, since they are a great band. New Found Glory are a cool band too, together with MXPX, Melody Fall, Bowling for Soup and Sum 41. I also like a thousand of other pop punk bands. I think that my style is a punk-emo one, I don't feel any shame for it, and I say fuck you to all the people that criticize without any reason punks or emos. Every song I write becomes a part of me. Mark - Bass & Vocals
Hi ppl, my name's Marco, I'm the bass player in the Last Day Of Summer, Sguarnod and Enemas of the State. I really enjoy playing blink-182 and GreenDay songs, as they are not too difficult for me but very funny to play. I always try to improve my technique in playing more and more difficult songs, little by little... I bought my White Mark Hoppus Signature Fender Mex Bass one year ago in May 2006 and I'm very satisfied with it. As well as Green Day and blink-182, I also like MxPx, +44, NFG and Metallica. My contribution to the band consists in doing stupind things and being target of some funny insults by Ico :P , in addition to playing as good as I can... Onestly, I think we are very coherent one to each other and we'll never stop 'til one of us dies, or, at least, I hope so........

Ale - Drums & Vocals
Hi all, I'm Ale! Before the start of this group I knew how to play the bass, the guitar and the piano, but in June 2006 I began playing the drums and I've improved over this years, even if I still have a lot to learn (you never stop learning). I give my support on recording, mixing, sound set-up in concerts, vocal harmonies (as much as I know) and of course drumming. My favourite drummer is Stewart Copeland (The Police), but there are a lot of great drummers in every kind of music. My aim is to merge the powerful sound of pop-punk with the successful rythms of pop and the technique of jazz/fusion. See you (hopefully) at our concerts!
